Lunch Crisis Averted

You know, usually after a long weekend I dread heading back to the grind, but today, after a blissfully relaxing weekend, I was actually ready to jump back in.  Good thing my brain was ready for work, since it wasn't ready for much else apparently.  Just after I had started my journey into work, I realized that I had completely forgotten my lunch.  Somehow in the 5 minutes between packing it, and leaving the house, it left my little mind and stayed in it's place in the foyer.  Having gone far too long to go back, I resigned myself to having to buy lunch (horrors I know), and texted John to ask him to stash my lunch in the fridge for tomorrow.  What did he do?  He drove my little Starbucks bag all the way to my office!  Lunch for me!

Crisis averted I made it through the rest of the day without issue, and headed to the gym to purge myself of some Labor Day gluttony.  Now here I sit, wine in hand, Frasier on the tv (I have a weird affinity for it) and relaxation returned.

Night all!!

How sweet! Sometimes my husband packs lunch for me :) But seriously, I hate it when I bother to pack it and then leave it sitting around at home! It's the worst!
