I would highly recommend a trip regardless! In and Around Townhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00323550191646173913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-179145301657394908.post-72013593679021169722011-07-13T02:35:37.043-04:002011-07-13T02:35:37.043-04:00I was born and raised in Savannah, GA, and think i...I was born and raised in Savannah, GA, and think it is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. I am, however, not a huge Paula Deen fan. I respect her rise from relative obscurity to superstardom, but I think there's more to Savannah than just Paula Deen and her billion dollar empire. Getting to go to Savannah for free, is a very good thing. Only eating at The Lady and Sons and Uncle Bubba's, would be a TRAGIC mistake. Savannah has so many smaller, less commercial, more authentic Southern food spots. I hope you get to go there, soon. But please, check with some locals before you believe the hype from the tour companies!!Mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10020496465378425337noreply@blogger.com
