Annual Grilling Social, Tremont 647, July 19, 2010 (6-9 pm)

Love for summer, and all things that that entails (um aside from the excessive heat of this summer) is not something that I have been shy about posting here.  At this point I think I am bordering on repetitive with my pro-warm weather, grilling, out door dining, baseball happy, waterside love statements.  I can't help it though, Boston just has sooo many great events and things to do when it's nice out!  And now, I have another one to tell you about!

Proclaimed as some peoples favorite event of the summer (big claim right there!) next Monday is the Annual Grilling Social hosted by Chef Andy Husbands at his restaurant, Tremont 647.  Though this will be the first year I attend, I can tell that this is one killer event.  Held on the outside patio, Chef Husbands has invited some of his chef friends- Chris Coombs of Dbar, Mark Oflay of Pigalle, Brian Poe of Rattlesnake and Poe's Kitchen and Isadora Sarto of Tremont 647 to grill up street foods on the outside grills, and even utilize the indoor wood fired grill to serve copious amounts of summer time fare.  Complimented with pints of beer from our own Harpoon Brewery...well it sounds like a great time to me!

Tickets are selling for $35.00 a piece, $30 for Friends of Harpoon, and include all food and two pints of Harpoon beer (yay), tax and gratuity!  Seriously- this is a fantastic deal.  You may remember that Chef Husbands held his own on the Fox TV show- Hell's Kitchen last year- so I'm sure we can bank on some tasty treats from him and the rest of the amazing chefs he's assembled!  Give a call to (617) 266-4600 for information and reservations.

See you there-enjoying summer in Boston!
