Wow....this was a day! I was invited to head down to the Frito Lay factory in Connecticut and wow- it was incredible! I had no idea how much a company that makes chips and snack foods puts into making sure that their product is as healthy as possible.
The great people at Frito Lay started us off with a great intro to their company and their location in Connecticut, and then a great round up of their product line, and their health conscious choices that they have been making year over year. Then, they led us on a tour of the factory, and I swear I felt I as though was on an episode of Unwrapped, or Mr. Rogers from back in the day, shooting through the spots where the potatoes are unloaded, where the corn is processed, and then where the chips are made, fried, seasoned and finally packaged. It was awesome.
I'll be writing a full review soon, but let me just tell you....a fresh, still warm Dorito is the most delicious thing....I don't know how I'll ever eat one from a bag again.
Alright my busy day continues tonight- hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

Did you bring back some cool ranch seasoning? I wish they would bottle that! =)
That sounds like fun! I used to love it when Mr. Rogers visited a factory, so I can't wait to hear more!
